Today, I received a Notice to Appear - to take the oath of citizenship on 24 April/13, VIA Rail Station, Winnipeg. Took test on March 7/13. From time I submitted my application to oath taking: 27 months total.

No RQ, I was never out of Canada. It has been a long wait but no complaints. Patience is a virtue.

2013-04-24 80 new Canadians will receive their citizenship.

I took my test on March 14 (no letter yet), so it seems I'll be called for one of those ceremonies in May.

Thank you very much. It was a touching and memorable day for me as well as 85 new Canadians. There was a long line up before the ceremony but before 3pm it was over I think.
