I have got my path ceremony coming up but they have informed just a week in advance and I have to travel. Can't decide or cancel travel or reschedule ceremony - both are important. How often do ceremonies happen? If they reschedule, would they reschedule for next month? Any idea or experience. It's a virtual ceremony. Thanks.

This is the million dollar question. Some have been rescheduled in weeks, some in months. Unless you travel is so critical that it can’t be moved, I would suggest, take the Oath and get done with it.
Thanks. Do you "have to" cut up your PR card before the citizenship certificate arrives?

Yes you have to . However some members of this forum have said that they let the staff know when they attended the oath that they need to travel that week and their certificate was expedited to them . How soon after your oath do you have to travel ?

I had an update to attend the Oath of citizenship Ceremony scheduled for the 30th of March 2022, but I have not received an email to that effect. Citizenship Oath was updated to 'In-progress' on the 9th of March 2022. Is this in order?

It can take anywhere from 3-8 months after passing exam for most people, depending on the visa office, to be notified of your oath ceremony. Check the thread with the Month and Year you applied to connect with people in the same situation as yourself.
I have a oath ceremony on 1st September, and till today I haven't received any email , its only visible on portal. Secondly I want to reschedule it in December, because i am travelling in month of Nov for full 30 days and tickets are booked. I am sure if i took oath now cannot travel in Nov month because of the passport will take longer time to come then getting visa and all formality.
Kindly suggest how to connect with them. I have already sent a an email to Mississauga office 2 days back, but no update , I also filled the Webform with explanation, but no response.
I am not sure what is next step , can i visit any Local Immigration and citizen office and update my status. Need suggestion/advice.
