Pepo, When I get home I will check this for you, but as much as I can remember there was no reference number...it just said both degree and their Canadian equivalencies. I think they forward a copy to CIC as well.

Dear Islandbabe,

Will you please tell us more about your report, how different is this new FSWC report than the usual Assesment report we get from WES.

My guess is that everything on a normal report that they were giving before this FSWC was announced by WES shold be there.

Can you check from online sample of the reports that WES has on its site and verify this fact for me.

Is there any special reference no. for CIC canada to be used on that report that you received.

But I am Bachelor in Commerce as per Canadian eqvuilancy...
My Master in computer science Institute is not recognized by Canada. i am getting total 73 points

Will i be eligible to apply??

Dear Happy2k4,

I am no expert in these matters, just a simple applicant like yourself. My understanding however is that it mostly depends on the job duties listed on your work experience letters, you must have at least 1 years experience in the jobs listed under NOC 2147......go to the HRDSC site and look at the job duties that fall under this Noc and ensure that the duties that you put fit these as per your job letter.

Islandbabe,

I am curious about asking that because I want to know what difference they have done in the report because I have already received my normal assessment report 10 day back. I wrote them very specifically that they process the file as per FSWC at that time even though it was not announced at that time anticipating that they would be announcing something soon.

Now if the report has no difference and I have two copies with me I can use the same report for FSWC while my duplicate copy for FSWC is in process. I sent the documents through canada post but the request and money order got lost in the transit. I have lost six valuable days and have put up the request again.

Please look into your copy and match with the online sample of the report and tell me if there is any difference or is it same as the normal report (without FSWC)

I have a query:

Does the 300 applicant quota include people who have arranged employment in Canada also? I mean people who are working there already, just haven't got their PR.

Will they be given any preference? Then I guess, we don't stand any chance at all!!

Pepto...Do more research and do not just act based on what I say...I looked at the report...it doesn't say FSW anywhere....it does however have my Wes ID # and the date, my assessment was completed.

What does your report look like? Are you sure you do not want to wait for the second report. What NOC are you applying under?

Hey islandbabe. Since I am a newbie I can't reply to your private message. My NOC isn't on my list but my husband's own is so I am trying to see how best we can try to make a go at it. Just got his assessment yesterday so it's a matter of waiting for the application forms.

Hi Kashka so we are in the EXACT same position,,,,,,husband on the list.....got assessment yesterday as well....The forms are still not updated though

where are you applying from and under which NOC? Maybe you should go ahead and at least fill out some of the old forms....all the forms may not change.
