Hi to all you fellow members

I am new to this forum and i would like to ask you guys something.

I am a Russian Born New Zealander, I've been living in New Zealand for 14 years with my family, I am 17 (18 next month), and have NZ Citizenship and Residency but no Russian Citizenship or Residency. Now i know I'm getting a bit off topic, I am studying my diploma in CIT this year and hopefully my bachelors next year at a institute of technology over here in Auckland where i currently reside.

I should graduate once i am 20, and I'm hoping to travel to Canada for a year under a overseas holiday work visa (12 months), i read online that NZ and Canada offer this visa for any citizen of those countries. I would like to someday go live in Canada, but still being very young for my age and looking at the required fields to actually immigrate to Canada it'll be impossible.

Now for me as a NZ citizen its a lot easier to move to Australia and Work in Australia,, now i would like to explore Canada after i graduate, most likely Toronto or maybe Vancouver, so as a NZ citizen how would i come across to apply for a work holiday visa in Canada or a Overseas Work Visa?

Is it possible to gain work experience in Canada as a NZ,Australian or UK Citizen?

Would i have to have work experience first? Its very hard to even obtain jobs over here in New Zealand, all these industries like IT,Business,Design,Arts,Engineering we have here are overcrowded with too many skilled workers.. and trying to obtain a job in any of these fields is a chance of 1 out of 15..

Are the Canadian immigration policies a lot easier for NZ, Australian and UK Citizens?

How is the IT industry in Canada?

I am just very curious which is why i am asking..

Many Thanks!

Information on the WH program between NZ and Canada can be found at the website of dfait-maeci (.gc.ca). Sorry, don't want to post the entire link as links are apparently not allowed here (or I am not allowed for some reason ?!?!?! - I note others do post links), but the info is fairly easy to find through DFAIT's website using the 'search' button and words 'New Zealand Working Holiday Program'. ;)

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
This program: http://www.international.gc.ca/asia/whp/intro-en.asp is open to you to get a one year working holiday in Canada. I don't know how hard it is to get a job but at least you have an open work permit so it's no problem for the employer. If you did find a good job and you and your employer both want you to stay after your working holiday is over, your employer could apply for a labour market opinion for you and you could use that to apply for a regular work permit. Your employer might also be able to sponsor you for permanent residency under a provincial nominee program or if you work for 2 years, you might be eligible to apply for your permanent residency yourself under Canadian experience class.

The immigration policies in Canada are no easier for Australian, NZ or UK citizens than they are for anybody else but all of them have a working holiday program open to them.
