I'm sorry, but from what I understood from your post, are you inquiring if you are to determine if your nursing background is at par with Canadian standards? And are you asking if your nursing background will be equivalent to an RN or RPN (LPN)?

Is this correct?

If so, the Canadian Province will evaluate your credentials (not you) to determine you equivalency category. To know whether you're all set to write the test, or the grim fact that you will have to study and invest some more money.

And regarding if you want to be an RN or RPN (LPN)... It's totally up to you buddy.
