Good day! I'm a new member here and I was wondering what are the requirements to get a job as a nurse in canada?

I just received my IELTS(UKVI) result listening 8 reading 7.5 speaking 7.0 writing 6.0 band score of 7.0

I have a 2 year experience(staggered) as a nurse

I already have an employer in UK but sadly I didn't meet the IELTS requirement for writing which is 7.0. I don't want to resit the exam cause it cost 300 USD so I'm looking for another country to work at that accepts that grade.

If I can't work as a nurse in Canada do you think it's wise to find a different job there and then once settled go back to being a nurse?

I'm really disheartened with the result of my exam and I can't afford to get another exam. Also, I want to help my family financially cause we aren't well off like the others.

Read through the following thread:

It should answer your question.

Thank you. So it means that I need to study in Canada to be a nurse. Are there any jobs in Canada that is still in the healthcare category which I don't need to study or take an exam?

Yes - you need to take additional exams in Canada before you can work as a nurse here.

I don't know if there are other occupations you can work in in the field.

You can work as health care assistant if you are internationally educated nurse having at least three years of nursing experience in your home country or elsewhere. But ,you still have to study for three weeks online course and do credential evaluation with respective regulatory body. Some of the provinces here offer you financial grant for the entire process too.
