Hi all

As per this data it is apparent that they received nearly 4250 application only from JAN-JUN 2013. and refused nearly 1600 applications too(mostly from those who applied in 2012) interesting ,, I don't know what is the delay for??!

I'll add it later today, thanks!

Yes, it is interesting information. The approval rate at CPP Ottawa is between 65-69%, which means 1/3 of the applications get rejected :(

Which also means that about 50% of those 1/3 rejected applicants were just being silly and careless while
preparing applications and made mistakes in their forms.

Totally agree with you, I have seen many doing simple mistakes like missed to fill NOC codes, unable to meet IELTS requirements and sending reference letters without job duties

And that's exactly the issue which slows the whole process down. VOs have to deal with those idiotic applications, but could
be working on complete and properly filed applications instead.

So true.........

Well, supposedly at Ottawa they are reviewing "complete" applications....

Well, complete applications doesn't mean that those applicants are eligible, or have sufficient language test results and all that stuff.

new_guy,you are wishing for too much :P lol
i wish an immigration officer from cpp-ottawa will deliver your visa personally to your door and accompany you to the border for your landing then greet you on becoming permanent resident and invite you for dinner at a fancy restaurant then drive you home and wish you a good night :P
