And that's exactly the issue which slows the whole process down. VOs have to deal with those idiotic applications, but could
be working on complete and properly filed applications instead.
Hit the nail on the head 100% tob!

Its the people trying to scam the system and not file properly which slows this whole thing down, if it wasn't for the those folks we could be looking at 6-8 month processing times

Hi all

As per this data it is apparent that they received nearly 4250 application only from JAN-JUN 2013. and refused nearly 1600 applications too(mostly from those who applied in 2012) interesting ,, I don't know what is the delay for??!
Where r u looking in this sheet? I can see total 7972 from Jan 2013 to Jun 2013.

So cheers retards !!
That's the thing, wherever you go, you're always surrounded by a few retards. They're always there. Stupidity always existed, still
does and always will - we just have to deal with it.
It's as easy as doing some research before you apply, make sure forms are properly filled and the information given is true.
But looking at those numbers, I get the feeling that I'm asking too much. Sad, isn't it?

indeed its very sad iam_toby.i hate stupidity and im tired dealing with stupids ;)
See, I don't mind stupid people, actually I sometimes find them to be funny and entertaining. But that's about it,
we should keep them in zoos. 8) Look at them, and tell our kids that that's the outcome of doing drugs, drinking and
surrounding yourself with the wrong friends. Blah. Sorry for the rant. Seeing those number just pisses me off, big time.

If it only take any officer ten minutes to review a file and write send MR .. why do they have all these files and people waiting??
the thing is any visa officer working 8 hours a day , would be able to review 40 file a day!! So if they have two only working that means they can do 80×20 (working days no.) Which is equal to 1600a month.!!!!!!!!!! They only processed around 3500 in 6 months at Ottawa!!

I am sure that if the intent to make processing fast was there , we all would be getting PRETTY in 3-4 months maximum. It has nothing to do without to do with
stupid people.
I have false hopes in getting a PROBLEM in late February... or Early March for me and all May applicants... but who knows

That's some pretty positive thinking my friend. How many hours did it take you to fill out the forms? And you expect someone to check all the information in only 10 minutes? Haha ::) Really? ???
It's security and background checks that take quite some time too. And officers waiting for additional documents to be sent by applicants.
That all has to be taken into account as well. There's more to it than only reading through the forms.

Most of the data my friend is already on the computer. For security and criminality, another officer does that. What I am point in to is that
eligibility screening gets done after ten months now and MR gets sent within the next few days later. Many wouldn't be stressed waiting
and would be able to plan their future if they know whether eligibility is passed or not.
I think soon eligibility will be done at Cio Sydney and so future applications will move easily.

guys,
if some of you are so smart why are you looking for better life in Canada?
Words like stupidity, retards shouldn't have been used here even though every time two people meet there is one smarter than the other.
do not be the scum who ask cic for mercy and once you are permanent residents, you behave like slots.
But that's exactly the problem. Those faulty applications are slowing down the process for all of us. And 90%
of the mistakes are stupid and could've been prevented in the first case. So yes, we sure can talk about stupidity here.
If it takes 10 months to sort out faulty applications, that means a different application without mistakes had to wait in line because
of that. To me, that's stupid.

Hi maza,

i think you have gone too far my friend.
your PR application is not based only on eligibility check,it consist of admissibility check as well(medical, criminality and security) which are done by third party agencies and require more time to be completed.
3 or 4 months processing time wasn't even possible when CEC got launched back in 2008.
if there is one thing i would advice you with,is to go to cic website and check the processing times for pr applications under economic classes, under CEC you will see the live in caregiver category, look at that number very well and remember to be thankfull that most cec applications are finalized with 12 months.

Hi All i would like to share my case.
I am really stressed out.. Here iz the timeline of my case
Applied 26 nov 2012
AOR 20 Jan 2013
Till oct, there was no reply then applied for
GCMS Notes and found out that according to
VO my duties were not matched with NOC .
And my status was " review required" .I believe
The VO requested another officer for another review
At the last it said" awaiting officer review required before
Sending RCMP Finger print to PA"
I sent them an explanation letter and i added
Few duties missing in the reference letter
Few days later i received finger print
Request and they received it after two weeks.
Now i know finger print is just criminality check
But some part of me think i passed eligibility check
Coz if they were gonna reject then y would
They send finger print request ..
I may be wrong or right ..
Plz share your suggestions
P.S Since i apply My status on CIC
Website is' we have received your allication
On 26 NOV 2012'

Hi byrwus,

smartness has nothing to do with where you chose to live, everyone has freedom of mobility and can decide where they want to settle without any restrictions,of course with respect to the immigration rules imposed by the receiving countries.

if an application passes the first stage it has significant chance to be approved and opens further possibilities ex bowp.
so, this is not stupidity for anyone who in general meets the program criteria to apply.

anyway, stupidity is spending too much time in this forum.
You're getting a little off topic here. And I find that statement insulting, as spending time here doesn't help me -
I try to help others. If that's stupid, then I gotta be stupid.

But I still like wasting my time to help.

You are totally wrong average times were 3-5 months back in 2008 and 2009, which simply mean we are spending 8-9 months in queue without getting any processing. Check the trackers my friend

You are absolutely wrong average time was 3-4 months back in 2008-2009. Check the trackers man first 8)
