We all have done everything we can, called cic many times, visited lawyers and mps..in the end i would say to everyone that all we can do is wait and pray.there is nothing we can do more to make it happen faster.

I don't know how many of Nov & Dec 2015 are still waiting, me included. Do you guys think we would wait more than 30 months? This is such a torture.

Yeah, but due date does not guarantee anything. Usually on due date officers will review our case. If all good, PPR. if it's still security pending, set a new due date.

If I do remember correctly, CIC received your file on Dec 15, 2015 which is 1 week ahead of me.

Yes. I don't understand why it's taking so long for them do run the security for us. so frustrating. But I don't think there are ppl waiting more than 30(maybe 32) months? Hopefully we hear something around summer. that's my best hope now...

Im from pakistan. My laywer told me thats why i am being delayed. I have given 8yearz of my youth to this country.my wife and i are separated since 2.5years of our marriage nearly now. Im also in my 30th month.

Also my workpermit is expiring now if i dont get ppr i will have to apply in may.

Strongly advise you to start applying now. It takes time to process.

Well, I called them multiple times and they claimed that the process is right now in the hand of a 3rd party so they don't have a due date for that. I am not quite sure whether the "3rd party" is CBSA or other security investigation companies..

Ugh. That is frustrating. I probably will have to travel within Canada this summer again. I am sure Canada is beautiful but I really would like to travel to somewhere else without risks...
