Yes many people from July-December 2015. I applied in Dec 2015 ans still security is in process despite living in Canada for 6 years. If you applied in Feb and you know that you are in security screening, it will take more than 8 months for security at CSIS and CBSA.

People from India seem to be the luckiest. I'm happy for them. Yesterday on Facebook express entry group one guy who physically lives in India got his ppr 31 days after aor!
It seems like our qualifications and work experience which were earned in Canada are not competitive enough to get a comparable level of priority on our applications or maybe I'm not understanding the logic behind these things. Have lived here over 8 yrs now and have been waiting over 12 months to get pnp and over 23 months at the fed stage and still nothing.

Apply for Express Entry. I just did that in September. Hoping to get something faster than 20 months haha.
sometimes I even doubt the capbility of those " federal agents". Evidence could be found in this thread; some call centre agents are irresponsible and gave incorrect informations to clients.
I guess this phenomenon exists everywhere whithin CIC, some agents cannot process the case justly. Assuming pinko dogmatism in their heads drives them to let those "who needs help" to come to Canada preferentially. Ppl like you and me who are working and paying tax in Canada don't deserve their high priority.
This can be true. you can also find evidence on our PM and immigration minister.
Great, keep going on, in some near future, Canada will become a country like current US, Austria....
ridiculous, when your people's salary is still relatively low comparing to US and EU; when people in Toronto Vancouver are struglling affording a home. Politicians in our governments are yelling political correctness.
