Hey,guys. I need help.I just got PPR. I have a question about passport required. My wife was on my application, but My wife’s name didn’t show on the email. Can I send my wife’s passport and photos with me together?

I myself am thinking about shifting to ss..everything in file has been done except for being stuck in ss , will go to mp on monday and then me and my spouse will take a decision. Been two years now i dontknw why they dont hire more people. They speak about change in system and new rules but how can they be applicable when you have so less personnel to complete the job. I truly believe it is unfair with pnp stream applicants.

Could you please share your timeline? When did you get your AOR?

I applied under FSW program (Express Entry), received my AOR in January 2016. I ordered gcms notes in June 2017 and everything looks ok. I exchanged several emails with IRCC and they say that they are waiting on some information regarding ss. I then called them last week and they told me the same thing. I am still waiting on my PPR!

Hey Guys,
I just joined this forum and wanted to ask a question.
After receiving nomination from Saskatchewan in June 2015, I sent my documents to IRCC and my application was received on Sep,05 2015. Shortly after the AOR on Dec 05 2015. in June 2016 I was asked to provide another criminal record check as they say the original criminal record and the official translation were not attached together. After providing the Criminal Record and medical in July 2016 there was no change on my application. when the MP inquired the answer was that Security screening started in Oct 2016 and still in process for me. The security verification is passed for my spouse. In September I received the access to information notes from CSIS and it states that security check was completed by CSIS in 2016. I also applied for notes from IRCC and CBSA in September but haven't received those.
My question is can the MP inquire directly from CBSA? There should be a timeline or deadline. Right? A security check could not take more than 1 year. Could it?

You should report this since no where said that requesting GCMS notes delays your application. They blame everyone for the delay (CSIS, CBSA, ordering notes). they should start looking to their visa office process rather than giving people unreasonable answers. I know a guy who got his PPR on time and he ordered 10 notes in 16 months!!

I think you will receive PPR at any time soon. Don't worry.

Oops. I'm ordering every week. But several ircc call centre agents told me that it does not affect the processing of my file.

MP Contacted IRCC,
IrCC told MP” background checks are completed,due to high volume of applications, this file will be fianalized by end of this year or the starting of next year”
I think May be december or january
