I know its very hard.. In my gcms notes i can see my file was ready fr visa on 16sept 2016 and the officer who was doing the last review said, he need finger prints for both of us as we lived in canada for more than 3yrs..n from there the wait started.. One sept to other) nearing).. At some point i lost hope n only thing i can do was pray as nothing was in my hand.. I never gt any extra doc request ever n all my secuirity was passed all in sept 2016(i can see in gcms as they didnt white it out completely) still so many monthz they took.. Hope to get ppr soon..

bro, that's what we expect CIC is doing. My local MP said he has seen many stupid mistakes CIC has been done before like wrong spelling of applicant's name etc.

Btw, how did you reach the last CIC agent who reviewd your case?

If it is pre-screening, what does it mean?

You need to contact your area MP thats all theres left for you to do now that would push your application .all the best my friend

You are not alone. We are a group (more than 30 people) of inland applicants from 2015 (July-Dec) and still nothing. All of us graduated from MSc or PhD programs in Canada. We tried MPs, media, petition, and sending letter to the minister but nothing. Ordered CSIS and CIC notes several time. We found that the problem is CIC that for a reason don't want to make a decision on our applications. CSIS completes security screening in 2-3 months but many of us are in security process more than 10 months. I guess right now we have two options: waiting or starting federal court process!

This is getting frustrating now. What to do now no idea! I will be starting 21months on my application now from next week. Application stuck in final process!!
