Dec inland applicants called IRCC yesterday and they told me everything is done and my file is awaiting final review since July and I should here from them very soon. Hopefully this time the information is accurate.

Hi Everyone!

I need some advice please :/

My friend is a Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee with a PR application in process mailed Oct 2015 AOR Jan 2016.

Hi employer is planning on declaring bankruptcy within 1 month and his current work permit is a closed employer specific work permit. He is not eligible for a BOWP.

Is there anything he can do? IF his employer declares bankruptcy surely his PR application and Work Permit will both be void?

To make things worse, his girlfriend (a PR of Canada) is expecting their baby in 8 weeks.

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate you help!

so what does it means now how much time , do you have any idea?
I called cic on this a week ago and they said that it takes within 3weeks to 2months time after your medical submission to get the passport call, and told me that all is done and file is in progress

Did u submit medical upfront or they asked for it? What is your timeline ? Inland or outland?

I'm an inland applicant but my spouse is not in Canada.
File received: 24 Feb 2016
AOR: 20 April 2016
Upfront medical in Oct 2016
Added spouse in Dec 2016
Additional docs requested Feb 2017
Medical for spouse March 2017
No updates after that

CIC received my passport on 11th july.
Any idea about how long it will take to get passport return?

so what does it means now how much time , do you have any idea?
I called cic on this a week ago and they said that it takes within 3weeks to 2months time after your medical submission to get the passport call, and told me that all is done and file is in progress

About in a week or two u wil recieve your passport back.

No i called on weekdays only but after listening to 4mins, it says all the agents are busy n gets cut..

you can extend your work permit if your current one is expiring in next 90 days. you can apply open work permit.
