guys can some one explain what due date is ??? .My due date is 9 may but it shows as assigned by :

assigened to :
due date :05/09/2107 .
Will they touch my file before due date or or the due date . I m really tired of waiting as everyone are and my file location is pv2 off rev .I think its final review .

I was told that the due date can be anything, such as the due date for a feedback.

its the latest date an officer look at your file, it can be sooner tho. The officer can either move it to the next step or say require more info from applicant or do further investigation. Then you get a new due date

Dec applicants here still nothing. Background changed to in progress early April and I have no idea how long does it take to receive a decision but I've heard still people waiting and stuck in BG from July-Oct 2015. I wish there was a way to follow up but I guess the only options are ordering notes, mp, and sending email. Did anyone send email to CPC Ottawa or case specific thing? Was it helpful?

I sent a CSE more than a month ago but got no response yet.
MP office also sent a CSE but got no response yet.

December 2015 applicant here. Sent a Case specific inquiry, no response. Ordered notes, should receive them soon. Called them, really did not help or add value. They will not provide info we do not know.

And also police certificate from Uk because
I got my diploma there. Had to write explanation letter that it was distance study and I have never been to Uk

Because I left Canada, my case was transfer to outland.

almost 17 months, anyone knows usually how long it takes for them just "transfer" case from inland to outside?

I will be back Canada next month, have no idea how to deal with that....asking transfer back?or just let it be.

Ask mp but nothing they can do seems....

Anyone followup security check from CBSA or CSIS recently? Any idea regarding delays? in 2011-2012 some security checks delayed for 2 years and hopefully this is not the case for us!

I wonder besides contact MP, ordering notes, could we have a way to complain about the endless delay?
