They haven't started my security. What is the difference between security and criminality? Does both these activities happen here in Canada? Because I check with Superintendent of Police Punjab for my spouse and they told me they have not received anything from immigration regarding that case. How long it took to pass your criminality check.

I think for me it only took 2 days for passing the criminility. Once it passed, it is valid for two years.
Security and background check is totally something different.

I sent my application on jan 11 2016. CIC recived my application on jan 14 2016.
Today my ECLAS change from In-progress to DM

I think they actually slowed down processing applications in March. They seemed to have sped back up again.

Just got my PR card, I was a November 25th applicant.
Landed on March 7th; PR card received on April 21st.

Congratulations to those who got their PPR and PR. It must be a great feeling!

So basically, everyone applies for PR, waits for 16 months and gets their PR. We - the lucky nationals of famous countries will be waiting for 24+ months. I guess we should be patient and not compare ourselves to others. I am no longer frustrated. I think I passed that stage and have accepted the reality. lol

And what date did you send your application to CIC? I see that your AOR is in feb, but couldn't figure out if your app date is Nov, or October.

guys can some one explain what due date is ??? .My due date is 9 may but it shows as assigned by :

due date :05/09/2107 .
Will they touch my file before due date or or the due date . I m really tired of waiting as everyone are and my file location is pv2 off rev .I think its final review .

Mine is at pv2 off since feb 1 and due date they put was 24 march. Didnt get anything yet. They didnt even touch the file after feb 1 according to ky gcms notes.

harrypotter difference between ur date and mine is urs date was put before your 16 months and mine was put in after 16 months as it file shows as tri age .Does it show on your file .I hope both of our files get processed asap .Thank you
