3/10/2016 Got File Number
2/11/2016 Med Request
17/11/2016 Med done
30/11/2016 Med pass

I didn't expect another 4-6 months to wait, I thought the total timeframe is supposed to be 16 months. Jesus.

Hello there, i have a similar time frame as yours. Applied early December 2015 and got AOR March 2016. My background is still in progress since two months now. So yeah, hopefully yours will be quick.

since after medical was passed.. status in mycic and ecas never change.. BG N/A for four months.. and on ecas until now the status is in process, but right thru my email right this time i recieved PPR.

since after medical was passed.. status in mycic and ecas never change.. BG N/A for four months.. and on ecas until now the status is in process, but right thru my email right this time i recieved PPR.

Hi Alberto121212, very nice to meet you! I don't know how long will background check take but I definitely doesn't wan to wait for too long since it is approaching my 16 month limit. We have observed a batch of people got their PPR yesterday and I think people who applied in early December 2015 will get very soon.

My file has been transferred to CPC-Ottawa, and I was worried since it was transferred as complex case.
Now I have got my most recent GCMC notes, and a CPC-Ottawa officer has put this note on my application on March 8:

REVIEW TYPE: Program Assistant APPLICATION: EP... REGULATION: PNP, ... I have reviewed this application based upon the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file and note the following: RECOMMENDATION: Ready to Finalize PNP Triage: Select Triage

Any ideas on what this really means?

My timeline: Application Filed on March 18 2016, AOR received on May 03, Meds Upfront, RCMP request on Oct 15.
My file has been transferred to Ottawa on Feb 16.
