Does anyone know that after landing, but no pr card, if i want to go outside canada, do i still need to use the visa? or how can i approve myself I'm already the pr?
Since my current visa is going to expire in Oct, but my plan is going back to China in Oct. If i dont get the pr card before this month, what should i do? Extend the visa again? thx in advance!

After landing and before you have PR card, if you are coming back to canada by commercial vehicles (bus, plane, etc) you will need to apply PRTD. If you are driving, you will need to bring the signed CoPR

At landing your work permit is invalidated and the officer will punch a hole in it

My work permit is about to expire in June. I am planning to apply for Bridging open work permit. I have "NO" in restrictions on employment in BC PNP. But I have employer name and NOC code on my PNP. Am I eligible for Bridging open workpermit. I am confused?

Need some clarification?

Thank you,

Good to go. Make sure you have that AOR for your PR File along with your BC PNP certificate when you're applying for BOWP

you can't just go to your MP before the processing time is up say if its 16.5 months or 17 months that's when you would go and contact them.

After 16 months, CIC call center are obligated to follow up on you and they might be to write on the note and expedite process. If that doesn't work, MP might be able to help on your behalf. No one guarantees things actually process faster for you.

before that 16 month, IRCC or MP won't do anything for you. No use calling them

The 16 month posted is statistically 80% of cases and there are many reasons they can't make it

Got COPR yesterday!!

guys I contacted my mp last Thursday .I received an email from them yesterday stating .With regards to your pr application . I can assure you that you are in final review stage .You can get ur decision any day . We contact cic office and informed them that your bridge is expiring by next thing and office is aware of that and are really trying hard to accommodate the request as your background eligibility security and medical is passed .However if you do not receive anything from cic .Please follow up with us in 2 weeks
