no alex don't do that .Don't provide any additional documents unless they ask you to do it .They are crazy they might put you in the back of queue just like some of the guys who did medical upfront .Its better to order gcms notes .I ordered gcms notes and god knows when would they send them so that I can find out what is going on .

What do you mean but they pit the file at the back of the queue? What triggers that? I actually did medicals in July and my background check got in progress on 13 Jan. Do you think mine lost its original priority? What else can cause that?

PNP AB DID U DO IT UPFRONT CUZ IF U DO IT .THEY MIGHT PUT U ON THE BACK OF QUEUE CUZ CIC CLEARLY MENTIONS THAT DONT PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL UNLESS ASKED . IT HAPPENED WHEN I APPLIED MY WORK PERMIT 1 YEAR AGO .AS I WAS PLANNING TO GO HOME ON URGENT BASIS .I JUST WROTE A SUPPORTING LETTER . SO WHEN I APPLIED THE PROCESSING TIME WAS AROUND 20 DAYS .SO THEY TOOK 4 MONTHS TO ISSUE A VISA AS I GAVE THEM ADDITIONAL DOCUMENT OR LETTER WHICH THEY NEVER ASKED ME .SO IT BETTER TO AVOID THESE MISTAKES CUZ CIC IS TOO CRUEL SOMETIMES .THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYONE . YOU JUST HAVE TO BE ON SAFE SIDE

ya it is they give red carpet for refugees and middle finger for students .That sucks im not saying refugees are bad .They need more support than us to be frank but atleast they should treat us as fairly as we are economic migrants as we contribute a lot to the Canada and we bring more ideas .First they increase time from 11 months to 15 months and then 16 months and then god knows how long would they take .I xtremely unhappy and frustrated person .I have gone thru lot and still going .I am already in depression .I don't know what to do except wait

I spent a lot of money at watching movies to get myself going through this period. It is costly but by far is working ok. You can try maybe follow TV shows. I am moving on to TV shows.

Does any one know what does final review mean in cic terms and how does it work cuz when I called them they said its under final .Everything is in order or everything is done .

is your 16 months elapse already amaan008? If everything is in order and done the decision should be made.. i assume your 16 months haved just elapsed.. mine is close to 16 months as well.. tsk tsk too much stress

My 16 month will be on april 30, Im inland applicant aswell, Married with dependant.
My Time Line :

Dec 30, 2015 - application submitted
AOR - March 14, 2016
MR - November 04, 2016
Medical Passed - December 07, 2016

Since then, there is no update.. BG showed N/A , Its so confusing cause some other applicant either married or single are getting PPR even they havent gone 16 months of waiting

80% of applicants gets Decision within 16 months. That doesn't mean everyone waits exactly 16 months, some are longer, some are shorter. By what we see here, a 3 month range +/- of 16 months covers most people here.

Well this is my first time here commenting so i applied through a representative in dec file received on 17 dec 2015 process started 10 march landing fee in july med nov since then in process but changed to decision made this morning. So anyone around this timeline should be getting theres soon as well.
