GOOD DAY TO ALL IM JANUARY APPLICANT I JUST WANT TO ASK U GUYS IF WHATS NEXT ON MY APPLICATION
JUST CALLED IRCC TODAY THE AGENT TOLD ME THAT MY ELIGIBILITY CRIMINALITY AND MEDICAL HAVE PASSED and theres no red flag on my application.. Just want to know whats next and how many more months to ppr? Ty guys God bless us all

Is anyone waiting for passports to be returned from Ottawa?
Just interested in timeline as I sent it on Feb 25th, arrived this morning in Ottawa so I'm waiting for my landing

Since a lot of Nov 2015 friends are PPRed, I have been checking this forum and logging in my cic account to check all the time. I wish our PPR could be sent to us sooner than later...Please!!!!!
Is there anyone could share with me how you guys go through this stressful period? I tried watch more movies, but there is no good movie out there in this month. Not interested in the 50 shades, Transformer will be on air in summer, KING KONG is not on air neither....what I shall do?!!

Hey guys, I have a question regarding my expired visa. I have a valid work permit till March 2018. I think I don't need a valid visa when sending my passport to CIC upon the passport request, correct? I'm from a visa-required country so CIC will issue some kinda permanent residence visa along with COPR, correct? Could you guys confirm this, please?

You are all set. Just send your passport. You do not require valid visa. Valid permit is your status.

Hi guyz, Is it okay to do a landing at the border on Sunday?

I called IRCC and the agent told me that the online status is always the current status of your application and background check is not needed means that they have not started your background check or security!! Almost 15 months and they did not touch my application and do the security check or background check!! so frustrating and I don't think that I will get anything in 16 months!
I assume this is a kind of hold on some applications because many Dec applicants have received PPR and I am waiting to start my security

Hello Guys,

I have applied PR last Dec 23rd and I am on the same boat like other December applicants but my workpermit is going to expire on May'26th 2017...Can somebody advice me what should I do? should I wait for my PR?or if wait so howlong? one thing more, I have Employer restricted nomination, so I can not apply bridging workpermit...Can anybody guide me how to apply closed workpermit?
