I have not ordered any one since last Sep.
They have asked info about field of my study Nov 28.

Have you ordered GCMS notes? did they ask you additional information and if yes did you apply through graduate student steam?

I guess PS is either pre-screen or pending security. I think you passed everything but your security is not started? the last location is going to be PACE.

My security has not started that is correct. Everything else is done.
Do you know how long security usually takes? And what it entails? Noone seems to know..

December 20 applicant here. I did my medicals last Nov 15, and got passed on Nov 26. My GCMS noted were generated on Feb 2 and my file location is PS.

It says Nov 30 according to the paper file history. So my paper is also collecting dust since then

for me, in ecas DM not in my CIC. Please share your thoughts friends.

My case is the same as yours. I'm 2015 Dec applicant and ECAS status has shown DM since last Saturday but background check in my CIC is still "In progress".
It was changed to "In progress" on Jan 29. I don't know what's going on. Never heard this case before.
Hopefully PPR soon!!

No they haven't asked anything yet. Based on my recent notes the location is PS.

Seems that many Dec applicants received DM while other like me awaiting a long security check

2- 4 weeks maximum for PPR after DM in ECAS.

Nothing is strange about your case that's the procedures for mostly everyone just read backwards through the forum are check on September forum and also in my case.
I am Nov 30 applicant, mycic background changed from not needed to in progress on January 19,
Feb 13 DM in ECAS
Feb 16 PPR email, however nothing has changed in the mycic account, it still says application open
Background in progress etc. It's just a waiting game the processing time is 16 months. I waited only 15 thank God .

My BG changed to in process on Jan 19th too, everything has been passed according to call center but nothing changed so far in mycic and ecsa
