NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

I just called cic they said security started on 27 January 2017. That shocked me!
I did my med in July 2016. MP office said security started in October 2017. My background check went into progress on 13 Jan 2017. Today cic said they started it two weeks ago? What is going on?

Ok! so my theory was correct! when your background went in progress, they sent your file to Ottawa and it took 2 weeks that an officer start reviewing your file and start the security and if you are lucky you will get your PR in 2 months and if you need more security background probably you need to wait 6 months more. In our case that the background is not in progress our file is waiting for nothing (3 months)!!!! The most reliable sources is GCMS notes. The fun part that they had 15 months in your case to do the security not now!!

I sent my RPRF on 19th Sept 2016 via CSE and the officer who got my CSE confirmed the documents have been forwarded. I called customer care on 20th Nov and he confirmed RPRF was received.

This month i got second and final reminder to submit my RPRF. You can never belief of what people say. I was shocked to see RPRF request even though an officer wrote the information was forwarded. Dude these people need some automation.

I guess laziest Officers in CIC, would be appointed to work for paper application.

I think if luck is on our side we will get results in feb or mar max.i don't think we will have to wait for April to hear good news.

Does everyone knows about it or experienced before? My application(submitted on dec 15,2016) changed from xepXXX to epXXXX on 6 feb 2017., how I updated my new working permit info? Right now the status shows review of eligible is in process, there is question mark beside it and it shows reviewing if working permit, study permit eligible. But my old working permit expired already( Jan 15, 2017) and I don't know how to update a new one. . Would they send my package back? I tried contact cic, but always busy Please advices. Thank you so much

November 30th applicant. I called CIC on January 18th and was told my background and security checks were all completed, application was is in good standing and I should here from them soon . On January 19th my background went from not needed to in process, still waiting on DM.

I am a nov 30 applicant too. To my knowledge we should be expecting something by next week. Hopefully keep in touch man

You can fly out of Canada and come back and do landing at the airport but you cannot flagpole.
