Got the MR on October 27th,
then the panel physician submitted it on November 2nd.
Passed in ECAS on November 7th.
Background changed to "in progress" on January 13th
then DM on February 7th

You were not lucky and they can open your file right now. I called them last week and the agent checked my file and said the application is awaiting for background check.

If you are looking for a real answer just order GCMS notes because after 16 months you get the same answer: your file is in process. Many of my friends have passed the 16-17-18 months and they couldn't get an answer.

Due date on GCMS notes is 1 year after AOR but unfortunately it means nothing.What's your security status (in progress or completed) and due date?

Call them again because in my case she gave me all the answers.u never know.

I know most of us are losing it. The fact is 2 of my friends got it through EE in 7 and 8 month each and this includes time spent at PNP stage. I feel i am too dumb to go with the paper based application. I started my application (PNP stage) on January 22nd 2015 and it has been more than 2 years for me. :'(

They should literally stop accepting paper based applications. I feel bad for the new applicants. Luckily we all are almost there.

From what I see is that they are just sitting on our files and if they want they can finish the processing as early as they want but they will not do that.Most of the pnp+inland applicants studied in Canada and are working and still they are considered next to express entry.This is ridiculous.

I agree and with the current citizenship rules we can not get credit for the years that we lived in Canada!

The last location is PACE after passing the security. When did your background change to in progress? Do you have a due date for the security?
