you are almost right I think but again you many of my friend got their DM within 15 months N the worst part is that Inland applicants have to wait like crazy even though we have been in Canada for so long

I don't think so at all, I am Outland and still waiting for any movement
No DM no PPR. Almost 17 months.
So disappointed.

I received my GCMS notes yesterday. File location is PACE. And I just saw DM on ECAS. I can't believe this whole process has taken more than two years but finally getting there November 16th applicant here.

I think you can get an open work permit using your nomination certificate and AOR. Unfortunately with this slow processing time for most applicant it is possible that the process takes more than 16 or 17 months. Although some Nov applicants are getting PPR but the rest even their background is still not needed and I can't understand for inland applicants what can cause this significant difference between applicants. My advice is apply sooner to have valid status!
