Here is my time line.
1.We received your application for permanent residence on December 3, 2015.
2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 2, 2016.
3.We started processing your application on March 3, 2016.
4.Medical results have been received. (I got medical request on Nov2,16 and they post this message on Jan5,2017)
And I checked my CIC on Jan19,17, the Background changed to "in progress".
One of your friend got medical request late than me, and he got passport request already.
I don't know why I still don't get my passport request.

i know this is not related to what u are talking right now i apologize.. i just need to link my application to myCic . been trying but with no sucess since august 2016.. i dont know what is wrong .. if anyone can enlighten me with my problem that would be awesome!!

ps. tried all of combinations too..

To sucessfully link, use the UCI and application number combo. Important: skip Place of Birth and City of Birth.

Hi guys, I just received an LOA from MPNP online, now, what is my next step? Do I need to consult and pay a CIC representative to fill in and process my paper base application form, then send it to Sydney, NS? Thanks.

They have increased number of express entry invitations this year and that's why they are slowly processing our cases. Still background not needed 2 months after passing medicals.

Nov 4 applicant and same here, almost a month now after the Medical Status was changed to Passed and nothing has been updated yet since then.

Hopefully there will be soon...

No news yet. I'm hopeful there will be PPR in the first/second week of February. I have two different due dates on my gcms notes, Feb 2 & Feb 14th.

Please I need urgent answer, I have to send the passport for ppr vise.
I got ppr requset but I am temporarily in Vienna for another month and need to send the passport .
I sent email to CIC but they didn't reply.If I should call them can you please provide me the number or what else can be done?

You can request extension using "Case-specific inquiry form" & providing them with proof why you can't send passport within 30 days. They should provide the extension for as long as you need it (usually by default they give extra 30 days). As far as I know this is the only way to contact IRCC. Call centre agents won't make any decision on your application, including extension.

You can easily google IRCC contact number.

Even if you call them you would still need a written notice from IRCC that they are OK with you sending passport later. Imho it all will still take at least a couple of weeks.

My friend was in same situation and they helped him out.
Around two months ago he had to go to Germany when his PPR came.

Hi.did anybody receive dm or ppr? My BOWP is expiring in April 2017.if by that time if we dont get the result do I have to apply for BOWP again n am I eligible to apply second time?
