My background check changed to In Progress sometimes last week. Dec applicant. Medical done in November.

Good for you, mine hasn't changed yet after Medical was updated to passed in the first week of January.

Aside from your Medical changing to Passed, did the others had an update too?

I called CIC again yesterday and came to know that my application has been complete (Means: Eligibility, Criminality, Medical, Background & security: passed).

After all, this is it possible that CIC will start another background check? Please help.

No.they have limited resources so I don't think they will go back n do the same checks.they have Lots of applications already pending.

Hi guys,
Does anyone know what number to contact CIC at, from outside Canada?
I tried calling 16139444000 and it worked last time a few months ago. I called the same number recently and It doesn't transfer me to an operator.
Instead, it just says that the number is not accessible from outside Canada.
