Applied for GCMS Notes on Nov 28th last year ,
still no reply today (Jan 24th) .

Any fellows under same situation?

it takes 30 days for this stuff

What's the file location? and what's the status of your security and background?

it is 35 pages...maybe its on 2nd page.

it only say criminality passed, but i did not see security and background information......

Got my GCMS notes today
Dec 20 applicant
File location : PS
Eligibility, criminality and medical passed
But security not started yet.
Also in my ECAS the medical doesnt show if its been received, so it used to bother me. According to my notes, medical was passed on Nov 26 , so its all good

I have a minor criminal record which is off the record now. My RCMP screening shows No Reportable Trace but still my criminality is not passed, its on hold. That makes my case different than all of you. My file location was changed to PS-admin on Nov 30 and medical was passed on Nov 26.
Please update us as soon as you receive any update from cic

That's mean you have violated your study permit rule and have been working illegally in Canada. Moreover, you will not get any more permits to stay in Canada.

That's right. As quoted in the Operational Bulletin

"Local offices: processing of complex cases: Local offices will continue to process applications referred from CPR that require further review or an interview as per current guidelines. Local offices may also be involved in the processing of cases included in quality assurance exercises".

Don't worry just wait for CIC response and you will take necessary steps. Within this period of time just call them and ask about the issue.

Ok never mind. I read it more closely, it's probably due to medical close to expiry. It was at PACE, and Medical went from Passed to Not started and asking for extension, then it's send to Complex Case. And now MyCIC shows Medical Passed again

RCMP is one of the jurisdictions where you have been that background checks are performed.
Expect the same to happen on all countries based listed on your travel list.

CIC wants to make sure that you are a nice in/out of Canada.
