Wow! Congratulations. My MR was done in October 28 and passed Nov 11th but no PPR email yet and ECAS still show In Progress.

Can't wait to receive the Golden Email ;D

According to the spreadsheet 80% of the applicants have their status as not needed hopefully next year we get ppr

Hi guys need an opinion, i used to have a representative but a while ago we decided to cancel his service and i am currently handling my own processing. I managed to link my application online my cic. I am just wondering if ever that i closed or remove access from the internet my ECAS, is it going to affect mycic account?

I just want to cancel or remove any access on my ECAS so that my representative wont be able to check it or do something about it.

Hello Anxit,

So many November applicant still waiting for MR. But on the other side, some of them received PPR. I am assuming it's all depends on NOC.

Hope we can get our PPR very soon. I am November 23 applicant and still my security background is in the process.

I went to my local MP and he confirmed me that I will get a decision by January or February 2017.

When did you apply?? I guess PS means pending security and they have not started the process yet.

Hey guys any updates??? Dec inland applicant and still my background is not needed!!! I can't understand the delay since we already close to 13 months and they haven't started the security process!! another extra months delay added to 16 months!! I can't understand this.

I heard many applicants didn't get any status update on myCIC after their medicals are passed until they hit DM on ECAS. Can anyone confirm this?

No that's not true. After medical before DM your background status on mycic will change to in progress. After that there is no change until DM on ECAS. Background in progress after medical means that they have started the final security and it can take up to 3 months.
