Got AOR February 5, 2016

Since then waiting for MR..................................................

Anyone else with same status ?

Hello Anxit,

So many November applicant still waiting for MR. But on the other side, some of them received PPR. I am assuming it's all depends on NOC.

Hope we can get our PPR very soon. I am November 23 applicant and still my security background is in the process.

I went to my local MP and he confirmed me that I will get a decision by January or February 2017.

Ugh.. i find this so unfair they were prioritizing those applicants with spouses and kids. They should be treating every applicants the same even if your single or married. All of us were paying and waiting for so long. Darn it

Not true, I have spouse and 3 kids, I am a September applicant and I haven't got my DM or PPR yet.

My background check changed to IN PROGRESS today.I am Nov 9 2015 applicant.How much more time should to expect to get PPR Guys?Now its getting on nerves...

No idea when to expect PPR Email :-X I'm hoping we will get it by end of Jan, 2017 or early Feb, 2017.

We just have to wait. I check my ECAS everyday since my Background check changed to In Progress in the first week of December. (Nov 13, 2015 Applicant)

A friend of mine, got his PPR today. CIC sydney got his application package in April 2016. His file was later transfered to CIC HongKong.

I have a quick inquiry to make; I am expecting to receive my PPR while I will be visiting India in January 2017 for 4-5 weeks.

Since the usual directions in the letter states that I need to send my passport to Ottawa for PPR, can I submit it to the nearest VFS Global office instead which in my case is at Jalandhar?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

yes you can do it.once you get ppr request u can request them.i am pretty sure they will allow you to do that.i have read that in other forums as well...
