Hi friends,

I'm dec 2015 applicant Nov 30 I got my medicals and I did my medicals on Dec 7. Unfortunately I cant link my application to my cic as I have representative but even my Ecas not even showing about my medical req nor medical result. How long it takes to show in Ecas and how I no my medicals are passed.

Give it some time. Took 12 days for my medical to be passed on myCIC. Took even more for ECAS to be updated

hello friends.

I have a doubt. I am nominated by Saskatchewan and my AOR date is 11 November, got ADR on 23rd November and medical passed on 5 December. After that there is no update in my profile, no ghost mail, even background status is same "Not needed at this time".

Is it common for NDVO applicant or cic officer change background status before transfer my file to NDVO?

How much average time Ottawa office took for transfer file to NDVO?

I hope you will clear my doubt.

Thanks

HOW THE HECK SOME MARRIED GUYS GETTING PPR?.
I understand you bro :o

Ugh.. i find this so unfair they were prioritizing those applicants with spouses and kids. They should be treating every applicants the same even if your single or married. All of us were paying and waiting for so long. Darn it

I am thinking they might directly assign complicate applications with spouse and kids to more experienced / sensor visa officers, who might typically do some final review work for other simple cases. That could save some back and forth time. That is just my guessing though as I (I believe most of us) don't have any clue about their procedures.

Wish everyone get PPR soon. Good luck to everyone.

Yeah they should be treating every applicants same.. however case to case basis, depends on background, country etc etc.. each every application is unique and not the same.

Applicants with spouse and kids "sometimes" prioritize to be able for them to get together as a family.. being away for years is not easy.

Am a single applicant anyway.

if they are genuinely processing family first, then that would be quite unfair. But most of the time variance between files are due to personal history, a person lived in 3 countries will take more time to verify documents and security checks than one lived in Canada since 18 years old. Every files are different and hence take a different amount of time.

IIRC few pages ago there's a single applicant in early Nov got PPR. So families are not the only one getting expedited

On facebook page of cic it was announced there they were processing pr applicants with family sponsorship too. I do unserstand it is gard to be away with your family. But still i am single and i am away with my family too and i miss them too. So the other single applicants too i guess. I know the process differe depend on the background check and the availability of your data history. But somehow i saw a lot of pr applicanta with spousal got their ppr almost in 12 mos. Kinda frustrated because i really wanna quit and leave my current employer

Hello Guys,

I have a question...I am SINP paper based applicant Dec'23 2015...my spouse is not in Canada, she is in Pakistan. We are waiting for the passport request, Can I ask visa officer to change her VAC for passport request? As I applied from Canada so passport request for us will be for Ottawa Visa application centre. I just want to safe my time as I heard it takes more then week or 2 week for CIC to change VAC. I am going to visit back home on Jan 05 and expecting if I can bring my spouse with me.

Please share your advice and experience.

thanks
