Hello Satish,

It usually takes 1/2 months after getting security check in progress. But don't quote me on that.

That's right. I went to my local MP and he confirms me that I can expect in January or February 2017.

I am November 23 applicant.

My MP contact CIC and this is their response:
The application was received at the Centralize intake office on November 2, 2015.

· The initial assessment to ensure your constituent's application submission is complete has been finalized on July 25, 2016.

· The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if your constituent and their family members meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which they have applied.

· The medical examination results are on file and are valid for all the family

· The criminality verifications have been received

· The security verifications have been received
I'm Nov 2 applicant

Absolutely nothing serious. Hoping November applicants will get their PPRs in February, 2017.

To be fair guys, I don't really think doing medicals upfront is a good idea. Many people think it will put some pressure in Cic officers, but the ugly truth is it doesn't.

The only ones getting a benefit out of this are the medics, because when we do those Meds upfront we most likely will have to either renew them or re do them, at our expense. I was also tempted to do an upfront medical, because it didn't came after 3 months from my AOR as in the previous years, in the end i waited 6 months and did them at the right time. Now the average processing time is taking 16 months (from 12 months the day I applied), this time is more likely to increase and there are a few cases which takes longer than 16 months, whoever is in that case, would be licking its wounds, cuz he/she will have to end up paying 200+ per person in the application for the re medicals.
