How long you waited to be updated? We done our medical 3 weeks ago and still nothing in ECAS?
Thanks

I suggest link your profile on mycic account. It is more accurate and updated than ecas. I do not check my ecas anymore

Is there any benefit though to have a representative. I do have representative too. I am November 23 applicant.

Yes thats right that your eligibility has been passed but can't guarantee that CIC won't contact your employer. Generally they don't but I would not take a chance at this stage.
Well also they might not contact employer directly but might ask you to submit some job related docs (very rare case)

I know its tough but would stay with employer for few months more

July and August are receiving PPR today... Great news for everyone because we know that they are moving. :-)

Does it ask for the info of representative when creating the mycic account? I have rep before luckily we part ways it was a lot way better as the cic directly email you so i never got panic to due dates

Hello boys and girls

I'm Nov 12 applicant

my background check is now in progress, I don't know when it changed

BTW, I'm spending my time back home, out of Canada, I also took a trip to Japan for 4 days and came back yesterday.

Should I modify my Schedule A and send it to CIC or just wait for their request??

I was planning to send it to CIC when I'm back to Canada, 15th of Jan, 2017.

Thank you

I would not worry about it as if it is needed they will ask for. And according to what you are describing seems like that you are near to PPR, So would wait for.

They do send reminder email after you get AOR like I got reminder email after 4 months of getting AOR so after that you can send them (I did same). And as you are wandering to spend most of processing time in your home country then it depends in which category you have applied. If you can provide more details.

Under what program did you applied?? Did you applied inland or outland.. I think it is best possible if you could stay here in canada during your processing times maybe you could visit your home country. If you applied inland canada and cic MAYBE or MIGHT track that you were not here in canada during your processing times might give you trouble or they might question you. Specially when they ask for police clearance let say once they ask you for a police clearance and you provided it, best advice dont stay in your home country for six mos because if they found out they might ask you again for the police clearance again im not sure. Your applications might got delay because they also need to check you backgrount security and criminality check.
