Hello,

I did my medicals on Nov 4th. Yesterday I checked with clinic they said still waiting for results. She said processing time is 5-10 days. I am not sure why it takes this long. Anybody's medical submission took this long?

Thanks!

If we are paper applicant, First thing we all need to learn is PATIENCE.

Thanks. Although I am planning a home visit by about the 15 month mark, so depends on how it goes, I might need to update travel history, or land after I've come back. Lucky for me that I don't need visa (only eTA) to travel to Canada so I don't need send physical passport to Ottawa. We'll see.

Hello, what country are you originally from?

eTA is not considered a visa? I am confused a little bit about that

Thanks

A full visitor visa is usually done with a full application and visit to the embassy and takes weeks or months. Some countries are visa-exempted hence there's no such process.

Now, these visa-exempt countries need eTA and its a online and short application and takes 5 minutes to approval. The only annoyance is cost $7, still cheaper than US I94 (US$6)

one query - can someone clarify
I am submitted application to CIC, already received SINP nomination.
in some of the forms(like family info), provided parents / borther, sister details.
for CIC, do we need to attach ID proofs of borthers or sisters or inlaws?

thanks in advance

Ok then, I can think of eta not as a visa. I'm from South Korea
Also, I have my eTA already :)
Yeah it was a quite short process

Good for you. Well, i'm planning to visit my home country for couple of weeks as well but i have a valid visa to leave the country and come back.

Do i need to proactively send them an updated travel history when i'm back to Canada or wait till they request for it?

Hey guys,

I need help!!! what should I do?

I got medicals at Nov 27. and I did medical on Nov 2nd in Saskatoon.
At that time my blood pressure shows little high 145/98.
Doctor told me to come and redo BP again after 2 days on Nov 4.
It went normal 128/95.

I called to clinic back Nov 10 and asked them, are results already submitted?
They gave me e-medical information sheet and test results, that mentioned, results has been submitted on Nov 10.

Should I call to CIC whts going on to my file or wait and watch?? for medical passed?
How many days it takes for medical passed??

Thanks.
