There is no proof upfront saves time. The only time saved is between MR email and booking with the doctor. Depending on the country it could be 3-4 weeks.

Yes ur right... Thats what I meant ;)

The government of Canada has set an ambitious target in its 2016 Immigration Levels Plan, aiming to welcome up to 305,000 new permanent residents over the course of this year across a range of economic, family, and refugee/humanitarian immigration categories.

This is the first time in many years where a Canadian government has set a target of 300,000 or greater.

The 2015 immigration level target was 280,000.

Economic Programs (includes PNP, FSW, FST, CEC, etc.) - it is between 151,200 to 162,400

Family Class (includes spouses, parents and grandparents, etc.) - it is between 75,000 - 82,000

Refugees, Protected Persons, Humanitarian - 53,800 - 60,600

;D ;D ;D just got my AOR now after 15 weeks of waiting. I had to call CIC agent this morning and ask for update. Sometime you need to follow-up to check on your application.

Thanx druce..i was planning to do my medical here in uae and let my family do it there in india..

Hi Sartaj33! Yeah, Druce is correct. It doesn't matter that much, as long as the clinic/hospitals are both listed on the CIC's accredited medical panelists.

WE just feel more comfortable doing it same time, together as a family. My baby is only 2 yrs old, and my mom who is taking care of her right now, is not too knowledgeable in the CITY and she's too old also to do it on her own and accompany my child to do the medical check-up.

So my husband and I decided that we will just go home and take the medical altogether.

Yours might be OK, if your family are confident to take it without you.

Cheers!

oh my God Thank you God Finally i received my file no. today it says in the email its complete and acknowledge the payment.. God bless us all

Guys.... I have a news for you all!

I don't know if this is good or bad news... Here goes:

---I received an email just now saying about my UCI/EP# and that CIO received my application complete.
(This is the second time I received an email saying about the completeness and UCI/EP#.

---And then I noticed that the sender is:

Consulate General of Canada
Visa Section
Level 5, Quay West Building
111 Harrington Street
Sydney NSW 2000
Australia

So, does this mean that this is NOW my visa offce? SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (coz its the nearest in my place)
I am a bit sad, coz they said that SYD is slow in processing and MNL is faster. I asked them to send my file in MNL, the fact that I am Filipino and I am going back home this month, but I guess they still sent it to Australia Instead of PHilippines. :(

Your application has reached you local visa office. MR is next.. Good thing they are sending email like that so applicants know the status of their applications. I think manila office doesn't do such thing.

I am torn into three MIM23, hehehe!

Happy coz I know my file is in placed for processing on a specific Visa Office now, sad coz they don't recognize my request on email to pass it to MNL instead, and lastly hopeful that MR will come very soon, unlike what other forums said that Australia is very slow.

Anyway, thanks for all the support guys! Kapit lang tayo! (Don't lose grip) Someday we will all be there!
