Hello! We sent our docs to CIC last Oct 27 and received by Dan Lewis in CIO on Nov 2, 2015. We received AOR and UCI today, said email from CIC with letter dated January 26, 2016.

File number also included which starts with EP********. Is this the file number to be used when checking status in ECAS? Thanks guys!

First of all congratulations for getting one step closer to your visa...for ECAS activation you need to use your UCI but ECAS will take time to activate may be a week or two..Good luck

Got AOR/UCI today. I am PNP applicant and outland.

CIC Received: Nov 4 2015
Received by: Dan Lewis
AOR/UCI: Jan 26 2016

May I ask if I need to update and send the Travel Form because I made a vacation/tourist to Hongkong?

I renew my passport on Jan 16, 2016 and will receive the new passport on Jan 27 2016. Do I also need to send or inform regarding this?

I also might got wrong/interchange information on "Family Information" on Mother and Father Row but I can't recall if I change to correct these before I send to CIC.

Do I need to send these form and documents on Case Specific Enquiry?

Case Specific Enquiry states in their website the list of need to inform of changes but it did not say the following documents above?

Hi everyone!

Just a scenario: I don't have AOR email from CIO yet.

I asked an agency (they require some payment, $20.00 as I remember) that they can help me check the status of my application within 45days.

I received the email from this agency and the DETAILED INFORMATION of my application or GCMS (GLobal Case Mngt System).

And I was surprised that it already has UCI# and XEP#!!!!

Does this mean that my application is ON PROCESS????

Please if anyone same experience as mine, please lighten me up!

Thanks in advance!

There are no agencies other than CIC that can access your file. Do not fall for these frauds. Trust only emails that ends with cic.gc.ca. or gc.ca. if yo u get info from others please confirm with someone and then act.

Regards

Yes you can use either UCI no or application no to check your status on ecas...sometime it activets immediately or it takes a week to get ecas activated...

Hi Lizzycrown,
Came to know from your time line that you have submitted your application 2nd time, what was the problem with your 1st application? did you extended your LOA? How you extended your LOA??
Thanks

Hello! I missed to sign SCHEDULE-4 form the FUND Declaration form. So I've waited for the returned package, with details, send it to MPNP and asked for nomination extension. They approved for another 3-months.

You must provide proof that CIC returned the incomplete package, so they can extend your nomination.

Yup Mim23! That puzzled me a lot, on how come they can access and retrieve all our informations.

But honestly, it somewhat helped me to cool down a bit, coz I was so worried about the photo specs remember? hahaha!

Anyway, NOV applicants are receiving AORs now... Congrats guys!!!!! Keep it all up!
Let's pray some more....

@mim23 - That i am not sure about... but for sure there are no agencies can access your application with CIC.

@ lizzycrown - still let us knw if the info that agency provided you and the info you will get in your AOR are the same...

Guys,

This is the link I am talking about the GCMS Global (Case Management System) still another service from CIC. Anyone can access the account ONLY IF the details/forms are provided.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/pia/global-phase2.asp

The Global Case Management System (GCMS) is Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s (CIC’s) single, integrated and worldwide system used internally to process applications for citizenship and immigration services.

The most recent Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) on GCMS was submitted to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) in December 2011. As the system continues to evolve, updates to the PIA will be completed if there are major changes in the functionality of GCMS that impact privacy.

GCMS stores only the type of personal information required to process citizenship and immigration clients. The type of personal information collected includes, but is not limited to, client identification (i.e., family name and given names, gender, date of birth, country of birth, etc.), contact information and history, educational and employment information.

In my case www.visafile.info is the one who access it for me. I filled up a form and paid $25

Yeah, I will update you guys once AOR is sent to me... :D
