Same November 2015 applicant for two. Asked CV for both of us on Jan 2017， provided on Feb 2017. Still in progress

Do you know when you security check started and finished? I.E. how long CSIS takes and how long CBSA takes

CBSA takes a year. no idea about CSIS. Mine is more than 14 months so far for security check only. Not sure where is the end. MF!!

Here is what I know from CSIS notes:

CIC request security check with CBSA, CBSA request CSIS, CSIS send back to CBSA, then CBSA send to CSIS

For my case, Jan 2017 CIC sent to CBSA, April 2017 CBSA received it and on the same date send to CSIS. Feb 2018 CSIS finish their part and send back to CBSA. But I am not sure CBSA will take after get result from CSIS

This is not the regular PPR letter right? just a letter to request additional info/document? Doesn't mean my application is approved?
