I also have the same status in my GCMS notes " PS- Pend" from last one year , What I feel that I know 3 more guys who have ahmed in their name and they stuck in security check , even my middle name is ahmed and I am also facing the same issue.

I'm preparing to apply through EE this week once I get an ITA.
It's almost 24 months now and still nothing. My medical expired 4 months ago and hasn't been extended yet appearntly.

I had to rewrite ielts and paid $300. This 2nd Medical exam will cost me another $500. EE application fee another $1050. Spent 3 years waiting already. Have been paying all these fees twice already. Spent about 1/3 of my life in Canada. What else do they need from me?

This endless wait time is wearing me out. God please help us.

But LVO sayin security checks still in progress. ITs been an year now since checks started.. CSIS completed on march 2017. any insights how much time it can take more?

What is meant by this location

This means it is waiting for review of an officer. The CBSC check should have done already but being pending to assign this application to an IRCC　 officer to review. I am in the same location too.

The exact same kind of response I got from IRCC call center last month. They said, my file hold to revise by another officer.

Yes, I got exactly the same. This will be an senior officer, therefore, we are all in queue for this officer to review. And I am very sure that they only review no more than 2 files per day. That's why we are all stuck here.

No mine says security screening in process according to my mp notes. What i beleive n heard from ppl is that if u constantly order notes and contact cbsa ur file gets delayed!
