My timeline is shown to the left. BG check changed on 13 Jan. Also I'm single and have not been home for 9 years and 5 days. Only left Canada for 9 days and that was 4 yrs ago. I came here when I was a teenager. I got my degree here, have a good job, and possibly have better english skills than my case officer. What is all this wait for? I'm turning into a sculpture as result of having my life on hold for this long.

I tried calling cic today for like 30 times and I couldn't get through.
Wow, mine background in progress on the same day as yours. I am still waiting DM too. The officer said our case is not delayed because this is the 16th mon. I have no word then.

Once a government employees told me they get this option of working for 9 months and be off for 3 months. I hope my case officer is not doing that.
I heard the junior officer could have one month paid off so I think if the officer has several years working experience, getting 3 months paid off is reasonable. Working for government is so good.

Can I change my spousal Visa application centre before PPR? she is not in Canada so I will need to change her Visa centre from Ottawa to back home visa centre and it waste more time.

Should I contact IRCC-Ottawa and ask them to issue her letter to her residence country?

I think you should wait for the PPR and she could submit her Visa to the local Visa office to issue Immigration Visa for her. It is mentioned in the PPR letter for those who is not in Canada.

I am working too. We are so far from those good jobs with this status in Canada.
Nah, I can still take holiday hours in 11 of 12 months and these hours accumulate so 3-week off work is quite common so I'm happy with it

We are far from other OECD countries like France who gets 4-5 weeks vacation per year. Canada is the second lowest in the bloc just better than USA

You can send the package using priority but keep the pre-paid return envelop inside xpresspost as they requested.

Coast to coast Xpresspost is 2 days, Priority is 1 day.
