What do you mean by (GS - Friend) ???

Hi Mim23,

GS is the usual term for "General Stream" under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. It is actually my Provincial Teritory Stream. Although, the proper term should be: Skilled Worker Overseas - as stated in my Confirmation of Nomination (LOA) from MPNP.
"Friend" means my sponsor/supporter is a friend. On the otherhand, Family Stream (FS) is the term used for applicants whose sponsors are family members/relatives.

I'm guessing you're an Express Entry provincial nominee applicant am I right ? (I am a regular provincial nomiee applicant) If so, may I know what province?

Same as yours. Im also under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. but my sponsor is a relative. Im just asking coz I have a bestfriend who also wants to go to Canada but she doesn't have relative there, so im just gathering information for her. anyway thank you for your reply. I hope u can give me more information so I can relay it to my friend.

hi there i submitted my pr application in november 20 2015.i am waiting for my file number. do you have any idea how long its take to get pr file number. and i went through ainp nominee

Its takes 3 months approx to get AOR from the that VIC receives ur application.

Where are you applyig from murugan?

hey guys chill if u applied between October and November they still accepting 35x45, photo changes happened last January 19, 2016.

Oo nga, same boat tayo hehehe Let's pray maging ok lahat.

Medyo worried lang ako sa PHoto specs. Sa last check ko kasi 25-30mm lang head-chin.
Kanina 31-36mm na pala. Waaaahh! I hope ok lang ung samin 30mm kasi yun, reaching 31mm.

Only JAN-19? But when I check ummm... early DEC it was already changed on their photo requirement.

actually mid november changes happened it was updated last January 19. dont worry everything is fine. keep praying and keep me posted here.
