It was updated on MyCIC in just two days, I am not sure how long for ecas...

I called my doctor office too and the nurse said I need to scan the eMed Information Sheet to IRCC by CSE and ask them to link it to the PR file. Which I prompted did, even I did it back in early August and no updates or responds from IRCC at all

Let's see if I get an update and will call CIC after a week or two

I called CIC this morning, the lady said the call center cannot do anything to help
I did the same to CSE early September. And the nurse told me the same. I am gonna upload to CSE again tonight and wait for at most two weeks and if still no show up on cic account I think I need to Do the ME again... :'(

Based on few gcms notes and PR finalization of some applicants, that is when you should expect your PPR. It could happen earlier tho. Remember the 16 months processing time

Did you do upfront ME?

It is possible for Paper PNP, but not recommended. There are occasions where it is sensible. "It may speed up my process" is not a sensible reason

I have seen some people in the PNP stream who are paper based applicants do Medicals upfront.

Now, I have no idea if this is acceptable or not, but it sure did work for this guy.
I wouldn't do it personally though.

Hoep is all well, I applied for PR under Ontario provisional nominee ( no job offer - no employer restriction on nomination) , and got my AOR by email on oct 21th. the email says the following and shows a file number as well :

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/07/12.

AND here is the status online:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started


Now my questions is if this AOR in the email format is enough to apply for the Bridging open work permit ( mine current work permit is open as well) or do I have to wait of the eligibility assessment to change to from in progress to " passed" and receive another letter from them?
