You never told anyone your Visa office that the fingerprints are being mailed to, even though it was asked over and over, unless I’ve missed it. If it is going to Vancouver, it will take about a week.
did your BG turn to completed? My FP was mailed out by RCMP to IRCC Vancouver on Feb 21st. No update yet.

Background marked complete in tracker today (Mar 4). Shows date completed Feb 28.

I was in FPR cohort that got stuck at RCMP from at least Feb 7 to Feb 21. I have a November AOR, but October application date, so my main data is in that October thread. Just sharing here due to the FPR cohort I'm sure many are stuck in.

Should I send a webform including my FP receipt to make sure that I had followed their advice and don't miss 30 days window for FP request ? I called RCMP and mine was sent on Feb 21st to Vancouver as well, still no update.
Tried calling IRCC today and auto answering machine said that there is a technical issue so agent has limit access to system. Maybe it's the reason.

If you're at about 28 days, I would, just in case. IRCC phone line told me I didn't need to send a web form unless I got a final notice, but it would probably be safer to do so.

I'm sure they got a huge number from RCMP all at once due to the mail room backup until the 21st, so it will probably come through for you in the next few days.

@mesmerizer85 @Sevou same here. Fingerprints were dispatched by RCMP to Vancouver on the 21st of Feb. No updates since. Now, IRCC changed their Citizenship grant standard processing time to 9 months. Sort of upsets me personally but nothing I can do..
@DocumentJourney @mesmerizer85 If I receive any updates. I will keep you both posted, Trust me this is the game of patience. Which honestly, I do not have it at this moment. Hope for the best

Thanks. I’ll keep everyone updated too. And I hear you about the game of patience but they picked the worst time to test my patience. I’m usually a patient person but I have to travel for work as early as next month so my folks at work will not be pleased with the uncertainty IRCC are causing me.

Hey everyone!
Here’s my timeline n update :

Type: Online application
Location: Toronto
Physical Presence Days: 1104
Application: Family (parent + child)
Application sent: Nov 3, 2024
AOR: Nov 15, 2024
BG: Jan 11, 2025
Test window: Jan 24 - Feb 22, 2025
Test taken: Feb 11, 2025 (passed 18/20)
Test updated on tracker: Feb 14, 2025
LPP: Feb 26, 2024
Oath Ceremony: Scheduled for Mar 20, 2025

Still waiting for the oath email and had a few questions:

1. When can I expect the oath email invite? And is that the only way to find out if it’s virtual or in-person?

2. I’ll be traveling for the oath, but my 5-year-old won’t be coming with me. That should be fine, right? Anything I should keep in mind since he’s not accompanying me? I assume I’ll still be able to download his e-certificate and apply for his passport?

3. I used to be able to access my kid’s tracker, but after LPP, I can’t log in anymore—same thing now that my oath is scheduled. Last time I checked (Feb 25, before LPP), his tracker had no updates, just “application filed.” Is this normal?

4. I’m truly grateful for this milestone and want to complete everything properly. I’ve seen people getting their e-certificates in 1-3 days recently —what’s a realistic timeline to receive it and apply for the passport before I need to travel for other commitments?

5. Any other tips or advice?

Would really appreciate your insights. Thanks in advance!

I am also not enthused by the fact people keep getting oath scheduled but then not getting instructions until like 5-10 days before the ceremony.

I am out of the country and I will choose a very different city (Vancouver) for virtual vs in-person (Calgary will be required). Not knowing in-person vs virtual means I can't buy a flight until the last minute.

Oh well, I guess it'll be a nice problem to have. :p For now, I'm at LPP/BG/Test complete. Waiting on final decision/oath letter...

Wait your LPP was done as well? When did they do that? Sorry I can’t seem to access your profile to check your timeline. It doesn’t let me.
