Oh thank you for explaining. I am one of those who submitted FP on Feb 21st and no update since then. hoping that after this week there is progress in our application.

If you submitted on Feb 21, I wouldn't expect yours to be delayed in any way. They solved the mailroom issue during the days preceding Feb 21 and said all responses would be mailed out by Feb 21 at the latest.

You should be in a normal processing timeline and will see Background complete in a week or less, probably (especially if you're at the Vancouver office). That is, if your Security is already complete. You can find this out by calling IRCC and asking specifically about Security and Criminality separately.

If you call today, it's possible they can see Criminality complete before the tracker updates. My tracker says it was marked complete Feb 28 but only showed up today in the tracker.

Might be worth calling IRCC using my instructions.

It's not really between submitting and marking completed. It's between when RCMP mails it out and when IRCC receives it and where your VO is.

RCMP is mailing it from Ottawa and my VO is Vancouver, so it seems to take about a week.

You can call RCMP with your DCN and ask when it was mailed out. Your FPR letter will indicate where your receiving VO is (where they are mailing the prints).

If you're Vancouver too, expect about a week after mailing. Call RCMP to determine when they mailed it.

i called IRCC and i was told that they have not received yet our FP, so he suggested to email the paper that the agency gave to us to vancouver so they are aware that we did our FP last Feb 21.

Did you call RCMP to ask when they mailed it? And what is your visa office that it's going to on the FPR letter?

No that is not correct. Always use the official number on this page.

Just finished call with RCMP. I gave my FP on feb 21. The FP results were mailed out on Feb 26. So I would expect any update in next 2 weeks.

Background marked complete in tracker today (Mar 4). Shows date completed Feb 28.

I was in FPR cohort that got stuck at RCMP from at least Feb 7 to Feb 21. I have a November AOR, but October application date, so my main data is in that October thread. Just sharing here due to the FPR cohort I'm sure many are stuck in.

So I called IRCC. My finger prints were sent you RCMP on 15th via intelliscreen (online). IRCC said i should raise a webform as I am coming to my 30 days. Is this normal? Is there a helpline I can call for RCMP where I can get status?
