yes Its normal(not doubt weird!) I received instructions to download e-certificate email last Saturday and the invitation email this Monday i.e. yesterday.

Has anyone got ghost updates this week?

LPP completed on Feb 20th.
We have received a ghost update on 22nd and 27th (today)
All completed. Citizenship ceremony is not started
It is an urgent matter for us now to get the oath before 20th march. Do you guys think we have a chance?

So, its likely that I will receive my invitation to the oath ceremony in a few days time?

I am on the portal, yes with the code. Actually tried to download the certificate and it told me to try 2-5 days after oath ceremony.

I don't think so, RCMP or RCIC declare they will not store people's fingerprints. May be you are lucky.

Or maybe because I have a RAIC pass at YYZ Terminal 1 and 3 airport which requires a Secret Security BG Check which I did and waited 6 months to accomplish.

Anyways, I did receive yesterday an email from the registrar of canadian citizenship regarding the instructions on how to download the eCertificate and requires us applicable family member to Sign up in the IRCC Portal.

Very similar timeline up to the background check. I got my BC completed on Feb 15th and still waiting on the LPP
