Hi Everyone, My entire process completed with the below timelines

Citizenship Application:
Type: Online application

Physical Presence Days: 1098
Application: Family(2)
Application sent: Nov 3rd 2023
Delivered: Nov 3rd 2023
AOR: Nov 28th 2023 (For both the applicants - Two Emails with the pdf)
Linked to tracker and In Progress: Nov 30th 2023
Overall Status: In Progress
Ghost Update: Dec 7th 2023
Processing Office: Niagara
Test Invite Email: Jan 8th 2024 (Updated in tracker on Jan 9)
Test Date: Jan 10th to Feb 9th
Test Taken: Jan 10th
Test Completed in Tracker: Jan 11th (Reflected in tracker on Jan 13th)
Background Verification: Completed on Feb16th (Reflected in tracker on Feb 20th)
LPP - Completed on Feb22 (Reflected in tracker on 24th)
Citizenship Ceremony Email: Mar 1st
Citizenship Ceremony: Scheduled for Online Oath on Mar19th 8:15AM (Updated on Feb26th, Reflected in tracker on Feb28th)
Citizenship Ceremony: Took approx 2 to 3 hours (Since they have to verify each applicants before the Oath)
Citizenship Certificate: Available for download on Mar21st around 1:30PM EST
Tracker Status: Closed on Mar21st (Reflected in Tracker on Mar 23rd)

  • On Mar 20, 2024, I joined the Zoom call while physically in Canada and took the oath. During check-in, an IRCC officer checked my IDs and location (asked me to open the map app on my phone and show my location), then asked me to cut my PR card into 4 pieces. I was also told that my citizenship certificate would probably arrive by the end of the next day if I emailed the signed form on time (I was also given the option to choose a physical one instead, but I stayed with an electronic one). The whole process took about 50 minutes. I emailed the signed oath of citizenship form right after the ceremony concluded.
  • On Mar 21, 2024, I got the e-certificate on the IRCC portal, thus concluding my immigration trek.
