Hi, I don't know if it is the right thread to write about this but there it is:

When my husband and I landed in Canada, we gave the address of some friends for IRCC to send our PR cards. Those friends live few hours away from where we are now. So when we got a permanent address I changed the address on the tracker via a webform, after 5 business days I could see that the address got updated but only for me the primary applicant and I raised a second webform for my husband's change of address again, 8 business days ago and nothing changed. In the mean time I received my PR card in the mail in the new address. My husband's address is still not changed nor did he get a PR card in our address or the friends address.

Any idea about how to sort this issue?

Better to call IRCC and check to which address the card was sent.

Pretty simple. Call them up. Had the same issue with me, I initially gave my friend's address as I was living at an Airbnb for the first month, but then I bought my home and moved in it. My address was changed pretty quickly, but my spouse's was never changed. My PR card came through quickly as well, my spouse's PR card had to be re-requested and it came on the newer address (IRCC said that they sent my spouse's PR card too, but we never received it). My spouse was only able to update address through the telephone, webforms never worked.

I don't understand what exactly this wait is for! For some, it is pretty quick and for others, it takes hell to get the FD. Does anyone know what IRCC does in this time frame that it takes time for them to get back?

If your application is marked for a final review to issue a decision, you'll be "all completed" without any approval email. The final review has to be done by another officer. While some might find it relieving to know that they've been almost approved, a lot more get anxiety from it.

I have reached the point of just laughing at my fate. While it soon will be 7 months since my application is being processed, the application I submitted for my parents visit visa got approved in 1 month. While these two are different processes but just finding it sad funny that those who are meant to get it get it just like that while we get dragged through the agonising long wait -_-

Ohh I see! So this final review by the officer is:
1) Between all completions on the tracker to the GC key update of the "
Final decision - June 4, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the
final decision has been made. "?
Or
2) It is in between all completions on the tracker to the P1/COPR?

Thanks for the additional information, it helps to understand the process more in detail.

Oh, I see. Lets hope for the best! Please confirm if there are any chances to get an ADR at this stage?

Actually, I got one ADR after my eligibility was completed on the tracker. It was for the additional proof of my relationship with my spouse, they wanted more pictures and proofs.
