What date does it show on the Application History section for Test Complete... Did it reflect the change only today?

The date on tracker shows March 10th - The day I wrote my test. However the update happened today (shows March 14 Time stamp on top right)

So the tracker is behind by 4 days! That's astonishing how they have a system that can not push out updates as they happen in real time! At the very least, a 12-24 hour delay might be better than what they have now

It may not be delayed by 4 days. It's possible that while the system did register my test automatically on 10th March (Friday), it was manually checked by someone (to check camera) and then approved today (Tuesday). Saturday and Sunday are non working days. They could have checked today (Tuesday) at the Hamilton office (thats where my test email came from). Its only updated as "complete" when an officer has checked for no malpractice/cheating/ID check etc since the earlier result is only tentative. So it could have been complete today and then updated real time.

It is also fair to assume that the timeline will differ from center to center. Officers in Vancouver (where trend shows 8 days to reach completion after test) may be handling higher case loads compared to Hamilton (which may have lower loads) considering that GTHA has also Mississauga and Scarborough. This may also play a part in how soon the Oath could happen too.

Lastly I also need to add that my test window was 10-30 March. I did my test at 12:15 am. Thats 15 min after test window opening for that batch and probably one of the first few tests to be completed in Hamilton. Hence they took just 2 working days to see my result and update it before it starts piling up. Again, its all speculation. Its a possibility.

My timeline so far:

Application Type : Family : 2 Adults and 2 Kids
Location: Vancouver
Physical Presence: 1150 days
Application Type: Paper

1. Application submitted: 8 Nov 2022
2. Application Delivered: 27 Nov 2022 (delayed by Canada Post Xpresspost)

4. Application resent: 28 Jan 2023

Question: is it normal to have bg take longer than others? i see most of the Nov 2022 in excel have completed bg status for AOR date they have, which is after me in many cases.

What is bg? It’s your past. What you did where you lived. Some people information can be verified faster than others some people not. You can not predict how fast or slow yours will be done. It all depends on how quickly your information can be verified.

Well my husband and I both have lived almost at similar places and his BG is completed vs. mine isnt.. so guess i have no idea what are their criteria anymore
