hello,

I submitted my application today (online) and I submitted my PR card and Driver’s license as proof of Identity.

but later I realized that PR is only accepted if the other document is issued by the Canadian government.
However I uploaded my national passport and my Canadian travel document in the section where they Ask for passports and travel documents copies.

so do you think they are going to return my application?
Anybody has been through similar situation ?

I am worried that my application could be delayed because of this and I badly need to get the citizenship so I can visit my ill mother in my home country

Hello Jadjood,

As you understood, the PR card is not acceptable as identification.
You should have uploaded your Driver's License and the bio page of your passport.

For online applications, it is unclear whether they send back the application as incomplete or they send you an email requesting you to provide the correct identification.

For now, you can't do anything to correct the error.

Hello fellow November 2021 Online Citizenship applicants! Nice to have this thread, I submitted my application last November 25, 2021.
