I emailed my MP and got a response. My presence and language checks have not started yet….

he mentioned that the “bring forward date is June 1”. What does this mean?

Hi
Oath scheduled for may 19th.
I don't know yet if it's an online or in-person ceremony.
My 7yo child also has the same date on his profile, does he need to be present ?

Interesting.. this means that if I applied online in Nov2021, my application 'should be' done by August?
I believe the processing time applies to the "routine" 80% of cases. There's no upper timeline for the "non routine" 20%, or "backlog" as they are now describing it. So we can't expect anything from the 21 month timeline

Except for maybe MP support. At least my MP has been reluctant to help stating the processing time. They may be more motivated to put pressure on IRCC next month when I cross the 21 month mark!

Processing time starts once you receive the AOR.
Yes, 21 months is for most of the applications. Not all the applications.

Based on the posts I have read throughout this thread, I believe our files will be processed within this time.

If you check the thread for 2022 or later, their files are being processed really fast. I would guess within a year or so.

Our files are in their inventory and they only process a small percentage of files from inventory and a large percentage of files from recent submissions. That's their plan to reduce the backlog and come to normal processing time with in this year or in the starting of next year.

Can the agents on the phone tell if LPP even started or not ? Have been waiting for more than a month now since the BG completed for the second time

They can see similiar info to what we see on atip notes. So yes they can see if LPP started or not. Also try asking for the latest officer notes on file and whether you have an officer assigned.

The wait is Over, Fruits of Patience paid-off atlast..
Got an email yesterday for Oath Ceremony invitation..
The tracker was updated only today for all LPP and oath.. but before this never changed the status to complete.
Thanks everyone for your inputs and valuable informations and advices..
