how long from the status of the steps shown as completed but the overall progress is shown as "IN progess "

I checked the old Ecas it says Decision made a while ago. Just checking the current tracker everything complete except oath but the whole status show IN PROGRESS. so nothing as changed there. I will let you know when something changes.

Online Applicants from November first Week, Any update? My Office is Calgary, No updates after AOR on 2nd Feb

Well I am an online applicant, I completed the test and sent passport pages in the middle of April, still waiting for Scarborough to come back from their vacations.

Same with mine. On 30th May all statuses got completed. On 1 June, I got a ghost update in the new tracker and the old ECAS showed decision made. But the current tracker still shows as 'In progress'.

I'm guessing the oath ceremony might be planned for Canada Day and hence the delay in status change and invite letter. Let's see.

Same here I have my tracker updated on 31st May since then no update, everything is completed except OATH, my friend submitted the application in Jan 2022, and got OATH as well.

Thanks .. i am in the same situation .
mine and my spouse file shows all steps completed except oath and still in progress
but my kid's application shows as evrything in progress . anyone in that same state for a minor kid?

i assumed they will change the status ofthe kid application at the same time but doesnt seem so

Kids application will move directly on oath, I don't know what they are doing.

I just got a response to my other ATIP request with A LOT of data. Scarborough has over 17000 files who completed test but not received a decision, higher than all other offices! Kitchener 1389, London 707, Niagara Falls 1702. As I said previously, Scarborough is where files go to rot!!! I will post the whole document later.

Situation is not bad for Scarborough office. More than 14K new citizen in last two months.

Last update in March only back ground check complete feels like waiting for Test invite itself is endless… people are getting decision made and I am waiting even for test since last 5 months

Hi All,

I have a question, I am waiting for my test invite currently in process ecas stage and I am planning to travel outside Canada during Oct and Nov. I don't want to be stuck in a situation where I will have no passport after surrendering my current passport before my potential oath ceremony date. I guess my question is until which stage am I eligible to travel outside Canada with my existing non-Canadian passport. I am assuming we can still travel after taking the citizenship test or decision made? When do we surrender the passport? Also, am I allowed to take my citizenship test online while I am traveling outside Canada?
