Lol me and @wksj mentioned this several times before but one member (not you) thought the could call his way to the front. I guess whatever lets people sleep at night. Glad you were able to reach them though

I agree with you. I sleep better when I'm focusing on my work, days go faster. I spent all my lunchtime on the call, I will never waste my time like that again.

I sent an email to my local member of parliament, they replied back asking for more details and they will ask the IRCC about my file.

I asked them how is it acceptable that the IRCC takes almost 2 months to reply if you send a web form. They said they will ask the IRCC about it and my file.
Yeah same here - I mentioned that the delays in my office (Vancouver) are unacceptable given we're a major city on the west coast and smaller cities have better processing timelines.

Hi,

The exam is not as tough as we all fear. But, definitely has some tricky questions. All you need to do is read the "Discovery Canada "Guide couple )PDF available on the CIC website and there are many android apps for practice tests. Keep doing the practice test ( i did it like a game on my phone lol ). That would be sufficient.

Can you suggest websites for test practice or apps?

I think the Kitchener offices, do the DM, and then they stay in Limbo... I checked the file and there are some DM since a long time ago. I hope to receive the OL soon. I thought this was going to be faster. :(

Hello guys !

Anybody knows why some people are asked to provide passport pages while others don't? We provide everything upfront with the initial application so I don't understand why they would ask for it again especially that it causes additional unnecessary delays.

Same for fingerprints: Is it required for the background check only ? Right now I'm sitting at background check and citizenship test both completed, with the rest in progress. Does that mean that I still might get asked for fingerprints?

For more information:

- Application received: November 1st
- AOR: January 4th
- Background check completed: February 8th
- Test invite: April 5th
- Test date: April 11th.
- Test status updated to completed: April 13th
- Ghost update: April 25th

Thanks !
