Yeah good luck taking this to court when IRCC processing times clearly shows that citizenship grant needs 27 months

when I applied, it was under the condition of 12 months. So let's argue in court....recent cases are in favour of the applicants anyway...
It's just my personal opinion, but I'm a real fan of you

I see that the Kitchener office is working really hard and now is one of the fastest offices in Canada. A close friend of a friend that applied in January 2022, (YES... THIS YEAR)... already has the ceremony scheduled, UNREAL I know, but UNFAIR for all the 2019 and 2020 guys that are still waiting. Analyzing the data from different platforms, I've seen that Edmonton, Calgary, Mississauga, Kitchener and Montreal are speeding up all the processes for people that applied in the last quarter of 2021 and this year.
Also, there is LOTS of pressure from PR and Citizenship applicants, reaching out to their MP (Great initiative), and more because the PR draws will start again in July so the 2.1M backlog will grow.

I think so, I haven't received the instructions, I know that you get the email around 3 to 5 days before the ceremony. But I've checked and just BC is doing both virtuals and in-person ceremonies. I guess they will keep doing that until they are up-to-date.
The calvary does not finish there... passports are taking a lot of time too. I started checking the process and there have been delayed too. :S
What is happening to Canada.... really I was expecting way more about Liberals... I'm really dissappointed.

This is what happens when you reach out to your local MP. They have a seat in the house of Commons and they are there to represent us. The more cases the MP receives, the more chances that they get to advocate for the Citizenship Applications.
Good for the Brampton MP, but unfortunately for the Citizenship applications nobody is talking about that.

I think that there are a lot of people getting their final stages that are not informing the forum. I haven't seen significant changes in the spreadsheet and there is a lot happening, lots of people getting their Oath Invitation, and DM's...
